Terms of Use
Last updated: October 31, 2026
1. Description of the service
SSYouTubeSave is a free online tool that resolves public YouTube links into the download formats offered for a video and lets you save a copy as a video (MP4) or audio (MP3/M4A) file. The service is provided “as is”; there is no claim to constant availability, and which formats exist depends on what is available for the respective video.
2. Permitted use — your responsibility
- Use this tool only for content you own or have permission to download — for example your own uploads, Creative Commons or public-domain content, or content the creator has explicitly allowed you to save.
- Downloaded files are for your personal use. Re-uploading, selling or otherwise redistributing them is only allowed with the rights holder's consent.
- Private videos and content behind access restrictions cannot and must not be downloaded with this tool.
- Automated mass requests and overloading the service are prohibited.
You are solely responsible for how you use the service and the files you save. Please observe copyright law and the rules of the platform the content comes from.
3. No affiliation
SSYouTubeSave is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to YouTube, Google LLC or ssyoutube.com. “YouTube” is a trademark of Google LLC; the name is used here only to describe the links this tool works with.
4. Disclaimer
All videos, audio, titles and thumbnails are content of third parties (YouTube and the respective creators). We give no guarantee for the correctness, completeness or availability of that content, and we do not adopt it as our own. If you are a rights holder and have a concern, please contact us via the contact page — we review every request promptly.
5. Changes
The technical interfaces this service relies on can change at any time, so the service may change or be discontinued. These terms may be updated; the version published here applies.
