1. Who is responsible

2. What this service does — and what it does not

You paste a YouTube link on this website. We resolve that link into the download formats the video offers and show them to you; when you click a format, the file is streamed through our server to your device. There is no registration, and we never ask for your YouTube or Google password or any other credentials.

3. Processing when you resolve a link

To resolve a link, the YouTube URL you entered is transmitted to our technical service provider SaveAPI (saveapi.org), which retrieves the publicly available format information for that video. The result is stored on our server in a short-lived cache for a maximum of 30 minutes, so repeated requests for the same video do not have to be resolved again; cache entries are then overwritten or deleted. Download links derived from a cached result remain usable for up to 6 hours. We do not build user profiles from the links you paste and we do not sell any data.

4. Downloads

When you download a file, it passes through our server purely as a data stream so that it arrives with a correct file name. The file is not permanently stored on our server and is not made available to anyone else.

5. Rate limiting and server logs

To protect the service against abuse, we count requests per IP address using a simple file-based mechanism. Only a cryptographic hash of the IP address is stored, together with timestamps, and only for a few minutes. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server log files (IP address, time, requested page) for security and operations; these are deleted after a short period.

6. Cookies and analytics

This website currently uses no analytics or advertising cookies and does not load any third-party tracking scripts. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first and — where required — your consent will be requested.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (for example under the GDPR), you have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Contact the responsible party named above to exercise them. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Third-party content

Thumbnails, titles and the files themselves originate from YouTube and the respective creators. All rights in that content remain with its owners.
